About Dr. Michael Charash
Michael Charash, PhD is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in neuropsychology. His practice specializes in the evaluation and, in some cases, the treatment of memory loss in elderly patients. Dr. Charash received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Fordham University in the Bronx, New York. His training included evaluating patients with stroke, dementia, and traumatic brain injury at the Burke Rehabilitation Hospital in White Plains, New York and at the Child Development Center at St. Mary’s Hospital, West Palm Beach, Florida, where he was provided neuropsychological services to the trauma center. In addition, Dr. Charash has performed neuropsychological services for the criminal justice system and has taught as an adjunct professor at Fordham University and Nova Southeastern University.
Dr. Charash has conducted extensive research on memory and is currently working on the creation of new assessment instruments to evaluate memory malingering.
